This Privacy Policy explains how Helthy, Inc. (“Helthy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit shophelthy.com (the “Site”) or use the Helthy mobile application (the “App”). By using the Site or App, you agree to the practices described here.
Who we are
Helthy is a food companion for people with diabetes and prediabetes. Helthy, Inc. is the company that operates the Site and App. You can reach us any time at lisa@shophelthy.com.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you request beta access or contact us, we collect your name, email address, and any information you include in your message (for example, whether you have type 2 diabetes or prediabetes, the phone you use, and whether you’re open to sharing feedback).
- Information you enter in the App. If you use the Helthy App, we may collect the products you scan and health-related preferences you choose to provide (such as your diabetes profile) so we can personalize your experience.
- Information collected automatically. Basic technical and usage data, such as device type, app version, and how you interact with the Site or App, which helps us keep the service working and improve it.
How we use your information
- To respond to your questions and provide customer support.
- To manage the Helthy beta program and send you an invitation and related updates.
- To provide, personalize, maintain, and improve the Site and App.
- To protect the security and integrity of our service and comply with legal obligations.
How your information is stored and shared
We use trusted service providers (for example, Google) to store beta-signup and contact-form submissions and to operate the service. We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with these service providers as needed to run Helthy, or when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Just email lisa@shophelthy.com and we’ll take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
Data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law, and then delete or anonymize it.
Children’s privacy
Helthy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and limit access to it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be reflected on this page.
